Being able to contribute and make a difference is the most fulfilling experience for a human being. To support this innate and natural desire and willingness for making a difference, a group of individuals got together and created TEAM MAD (Making A Difference – NGO) on November 7, 2013. The intention is to provide a transparent, honest and effective platform for anyone to come and fulfill their desire and commitment of making a difference anywhere on the planet. With 200+ volunteers already associated with us and counting, the only intention of Team MAD is to cause and make a real difference in the world through various projects.

Our Social Initiatives

Khilta Phool

Winter Jacket/Sweater Distribution for poor kids of ages 2-10. Living in uncomfortable homes, with their parents having to choose between food or a jacket for their kids, to protect them from chilling cold and wind of winter, we have initiated Khilta Phool a project which supports these kids and their well-being.

Chak De

An event for Senior Citizens to provide entertainment staying in old age houses. We intend to offer each of our senior citizen and experience of warmth & compassion which is scarce for them. We want to say “ We care and Thank You for all your blessings. “

Donate Blood

Blood is the most precious gift that anyone can give to another person – the gift of life. We are trying to help by doing our bit. A decision to donate blood can save a life or even several if your blood is separated into its components red cells, platelets and plasma which can be used individually for patients with specific conditions like Thalassemia.

Parinda

With the onset of summer each year, temperatures rise due to heat wave across Gujarat. We have observed the impact of this heat wave on birds as it becomes difficult for them to find drinking water. Lack of hydration in this climate can be really hazardous not only for us but also for the birds. So Team MAD created project “PARINDA”.

Tree Plantation

In this age of technological advances, we have started losing touch with nature. Because of infrastructural growth and materialistic requirements, environment is not on our list of priorities. We can’t afford to sit back on the growing concerns of global warming, and lack of rain each year.

Children Education

If we invest enough on their education, world will be a better place to live for generations to come.”If you give someone water, it will last 3 hours in their system, if you give someone food, it will last 8 hours, if you give someone education, it will last for generations.”

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in service of others.
